Below are answers to common questions about this policy:

FAQs

Why do I require a deposit?
• Confirms your commitment to the appointment
• Blocks off time exclusively for your session
• Prevents no-shows and last-minute cancellations
• Protects against lost income from other inquiries
• This is my full-time business — not a hobby. Your support truly matters!

Is this common?
Yes. Most massage therapists request a 50% deposit. I only require a $30 deposit to prevent no-shows and time-wasters — unfortunately, something common in our industry. As a Certified Massage Therapist with years of experience and ongoing education, I ask for a modest deposit to ensure your booking is honored and your experience remains professional, no matter the type of massage or service.

Do I get my deposit back?
Yes! Your deposit goes toward your session balance, due at the end of your session.
It is only forfeited if you're a no-show or cancel same day.
(Exceptions may apply — communication is key.)

I want to stay discreet and not leave a paper trail. How can I make a deposit?
Privacy is guaranteed at Wolf and Bull Bodywork.
Deposits can be made via Venmo, Zelle, or Apple Pay, and you may use any discreet note of your choosing. We never contact clients without permission — your confidentiality is respected at every step.

If you must be a cash-only client, we can work with you. See the next question.

Can I pay my deposit in cash?
Absolutely. For clients who prefer to pay in cash, the deposit must be received at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment.
We understand this may be a bit inconvenient for both parties, but we do our best to accommodate all clients.

How can I trust you’re not scamming me? What if you cancel on me?
I’ve been in business for over 8 years. I didn’t go to school, get proper training, establish a dedicated massage studio, and create a website with my full name and photos — all to scam someone out of $30.

In fact, that’s exactly why I keep the deposit low:
It’s small enough that clients feel secure, yet enough for me to know you’re serious about your appointment.

In the rare event that I need to cancel, your deposit will be refunded immediately via the method you used to pay.
That said, I’ve never canceled on a client — and don’t plan to.

“Trust me, I’ll show up — I just don’t want to pay a deposit.” Can you still book me?
Unfortunately, no.
95% of people who ask to book without a deposit either don’t show up or cancel last minute. We have a no exceptions policy on deposits.
Thank you for understanding and respecting our process.
